Real Help

It surely feels great and heartwarming to be able to help, and to work with people who are passionate about sharing their time, talent and effort to make others feel important and ease their burdens. God knows how thankful I am for my recent experience of working with a filming crew (as well as our wonderful spokesperson) for the new TV commercial of the humanitarian organization I am currently with. I can see more help coming for the children who need it most!

I believe that each day, we are presented with opportunities to be a friend/hero for others. It’s up to us to make use of such chances or not. But it wouldn’t hurt keeping our eyes and hearts open! :-) 

Helping others often gives us perspective and humbles us, enabling us to see with new eyes all the good we truly have in our lives right now. Filled with gratitude that we have enough to give, we learn to appreciate it all anew. We could eliminate poverty and hunger in the world if we all remembered to help the other members of our universal family. When we make the decision to give today, we are doing our parts to save the world, while also truly saving ourselves. (DailyOM)
